A lot of options at breakfast. Nearby parking. Staf very helpfull. Nice location near the waterfront.

The excellent staff compensates for the hotels shortcomings. The hotel and the room does not deserve a 4 star rating.
The hotel has a very nice location. Everything was easy as far as proximity to the central train station - literally next door. Parking was easy to arrange. Reserved parking spots where available to buy from the front desk. The breakfast was very good. I thought it was unnecessary to charge extra if you wanted a cappuccino or espresso. A hotel that claims to be 4 stars should have free selection of coffees. The staff was exceptionally nice.
The room I had did look out over the water, like I requested, but it was right in front of the ferries that were in traffic most of the night. I didn’t mind too much but I wanted my window open so it was a bit noisy. The room I got was VERY outdated and in serious need of a refurbish. The carpet looked like blue astroturf. The furniture looked more like motel furniture. It was extremely disappointing. This hotel has a 4 star rating but I don’t know how they got that. Perhaps because of the location? In my opinion the hotel may be a 4 star but the rooms (or at least the room that I got) is at best a 3 star. The staff was without doubt 5 star!
